This chica is in dying need of some motivation... So I am pretty sure I am going to fail my biology class this semester and this is not good.

Right now I am being paid to go to school, not much, but that extra cash each semester adds up. And that's only because of scholarships. If my GPA lowers too much, I lose my scholarship and then will have to take out a loan that I won't be able to pay for until I am like 30... See it's all a mess.

The teacher lectures about whatever and I take all the notes and read the book... But it's NOTHING in relation to the test. So I don't do so hot.

The professor has given us an opportunity to write essays to help bring our grades... I just hate writing essays and papers though! Anyways these essays are due tomorrow and I haven't done any YET... Yes I know that I am procrastinating by writing this blog, but I can't get motivated to do these essays... FML.

Just sayin'.

I have found that I truly am a simple girl. I like the small things in life.

• The sound of rain on a tin roof
• Cute text messages from my friends
• Hot cup of coffee
• Getting a good grade on a test (100% today on my Computer Science test... I was pretty pumped)
• Dinner with the roommates
• Black and white photos
• And something I discovered today...

COLORED SOCKS

It is so weird how good of a day I had by just wearing colored socks. I know this sounds extremely superficial but it's true. Today I matched my socks to shirt. Gray button up shirt, brand new. But I put on grays socks with pink and blue plaid on, and my mood instantly improved. Next time you wake up and it's a rainy, nasty Monday, put on some neon pink socks with black polka dots... It might just turn that frown upside down.
Just sayin'.

Maybe it's just me... But I don't understand tattoos. Needless to say then, I don't think I will be getting one anytime soon.

My sister got a tattoo last weekend while she was at home. I can't say I'm a huge fan of it. It is "permanent stamp" of a bass and treble clefs formed into a heart... My question is ,"What does that mean to you?!" Yeah sure, she was in band in high school but is she pursuing a career in music now... NO! It doesn't make sense. I understand those people who get tattoos to represent a large part of their lives. Such as my cousin. He has a tattoo of a bird with the wings spread wide and the day my dad was born under one of the wings and the day he died under the other wing. I like it... It has meaning! It's to remember those that we have lost... THAT MAKES SENSE!
Another thing... location of these tats. My sister got hers right smack dab in the middle of her forearm. Why? I have no idea. If, IF, I ever get a tattoo I am getting it somewhere where I can hide it everyday. I plan on being a teacher after I graduate college, and I can hear my students asking me now, "Ms. Nunley, why do you have a rose tattoo on your arm?" See... NOT A GOOD IDEA.
Tramps stamps... They are called that for a reason. They are anything but classy. Just sayin'.
